I was born in Romania in 1941. I've taught University courses in Mechanics for over 35 years. I started working with oil colors and pastels in 1983 as a hobby, when I attended a 2- year intensive course that introduced me to different classical painting methods.
Over the past few years I've discovered a deep interest in digital art and been thrilled by the infinite possibilities that computer art offers. I've experimented with many techniques, from creating brand new images with virtual brushes to photographic manipulation or algorithmic art. I tried to expand my boundaries with both abstract and figurative styles, as the submitted images show.
I personally believe that classical and digital art are in fact very closely related and that they demand very similar creative skills from artists.
