The field of my training is pure mathematics. My doctoral thesis pertained to stochastic paths over various geometric objects, leading me naturally these visualizations, which were initially the result of the need to manually verify statistical software I was writing. My intention has been to show that, stylized, Random Walks stand imminently beside any contemporary abstraction. Furthermore, the art seeks to evoke in the observer's awareness a global/local experience. One senses perceptual play of what mathematicians refer to as scale invariance.
