Ileana writes, " 'Snapping Lines' is a construction term which describes how well a building fits the original blueprint. The image was initially intended as a cover for a book which bears the same title. The figure in the foreground was drawn with Painter 6.0.3 for the Dreaming Venezuelan image, but was expanded into the central figure for this image. The final assembly of the collage was achieved with Photoshop 5.5 using a few stock images but mostly pictures captured with my digital camera in and around my home in Laguna Beach, CA. 'Snapping Lines' was selected as a finalist in the MacWorld Expo 2000 competition and is part of a travelling digital art show appearing in galleries across the country."
