In 2000 Bev Hodson began experimenting with computer graphics. It was "a new world of self expression", a means to combine her traditional skills, passion for drawing, painting and photography.
All works in this show were created entirely in Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. They look like they were torn from her sketchpad - one even depicts the tack holding it to a virtual wall. Another moves up a layer, depicting the sketchbook pages and spiral binder, and so-on, throughout the layers of Bev's imaginiation.
Bev is an artist and illustrator living and working in Wales, U.K. After graduating with a degree in fine art she worked with traditional media and has works in many private collections.
