Born in Scotland, Pauline Black moved to Australia in 1970 with her husband and young family. She is interested, she says, in mixed media: i.e., combining computer art with traditional media. She paints on the computer almost every day, using Corel Painter and a pressure-sensitive graphics tablet, using photographs as a point of reference. It is a learning process and a challenge, she says. She has a glorious sense of color, as these four images in this series show.
