Simon David Eden has been a filmmaker and screenwriter in both the United States and Great Britain. He graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 1987 with a Master of Arts with Distinction in filmmaking. He created thematic works in a number of different mediums and in 2002 he began to integrate computer technology and digital-processing into his art. He called his new art Codagraphs. A series of works entitled "The Weight of Fire" emerged and were first exhibited in a solo show at the Square One Gallery in Chelsea, London, in late 2005. Eight Codagraphs from that show and from his Earthworks series are included here.
