The Atrium of Time: the Placoderms
 
 
 

This is one of my favorite scenes. I wish you could see this as I do on my monitor here, where I use this as a screen saver sometimes. It's like looking into an ancient aquarium, an atrium of time, and there are these pre-prehistoric creatures--not so famous as the dinosaurs, of course. But more lovely to me, because they are more primitive, closer to that original spark when Life was kindled. (SB)
