H. Gay Allen

BRIEF PHOTOGRAPHY BIOGRAPHY

Ms Allen majored in art at the University of Kentucky and later worked as a professional photographer for national and regional corporations. She was a photographer for Louisville Magazine, University of Louisville Health Sciences Center, Tulane University Medical Center, Louisville Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Dance Council, Inc., Pan American Life Insurance Company; New Orleans Yacht Club and private clients; and has placed many photos and articles in the Louisville Courier Journal; New Orleans Times Picayune; and New Orleans Magazine. She was also a 'stringer' for USA Today. Currently her work is currently in a State-wide traveling exhibit sponsored by the State of Georgia.

Her photographic accomplishments span various techniques, mediums and genre and she has won local, regional, national and international placement and awards. She is currently Chairman of the Atlanta Photography Group?s Design Salon; on the advisory board of the Museum of Computer Art, New York; and served as a volunteer administrative judge for a large international online art gallery. Recently she was interviewed for IndieStyle TV program, which aired in Atlanta and Manhattan. She also served as the sole judge for the 16th annual International Donnie Awards competition for the Museum of Computer Art; and is a featured speaker, judge and portfolio reviewer for individuals and organizations throughout the Southeast.
