Memoirs from the Interior

Bosco's Dream
(1 of 9)

The nine images in this exhibit were included in Tony Kirchner's first one-man show held in Denver, Colorado, called Memoirs from the Interior. He writes, "My new work is under the influence of several objectives including the addition of cubist partitioning into the components of the images." Surrealism is clearly another objective. He was born in Germany in 1952, moved to US when he was five years old, and started painting very young. He works today in the field of software engineering, doing his artwork on the side. He calls his technique digital photomontage. He say he is trying to give his work a painterly look and surface, and trying to move the images away from their photographic roots.
