Eva Lewarne

ARTIST STATEMENT

Eva Lewarne is a painter, photographer, designer, and poet. She studied Fine Art at OCAD (Ontario College of Art) and English Literature. Her work has been shown at the Salon Grand Palais in Paris, the Chapelle de la Sorbonne, Jadite Gallery In New York, Gallery Moos and Bezpala-Brown Gallery in Canada, among others. She is represented in public and private collections in Canada, the U.S. France, and Germany.

Her photograph, Dreamweaver 5, was accepted into SNAP 2014 juried exhibition.
Her photograph Peek-A-Boo won Best Portrait in SNAP 2015 juried exhibition.

I am an Awarded Photographer at Gala Awards in Barcelona and 5th Biennial of Fine Art & Documentary Photography 2018.

I have also exhibited my photography in Gallery 44, Toronto; In New York, a juried show curated by EliSabeth Bancroft Wessel Meindl; Perfect Exposure Gallery, California...and in Toronto in Gallery 1313, 2018.

This year I was a featured photographer in Canada, in a magazine called Blank Spaces, December Issue, in print form. PERCEPTION, (featuring my photography series of that name) "How has our perception of life changed in the last decade due to the rapid evolution of technology?"

Ms. Lewarne was born in Poland and came to Canada after completing high school.
