Born in Washington, D.C., I was trained as a classical musician (cellist), and went on to be a jazz, folk and improvisational musician.

I began doing visual art for the first time about 10 years ago when I attended a weeklong silent meditation retreat in Woodstock, New York. After that very introspective silent experience, visual art became my passion.

About five years ago I got an IPad, and utilize about a half dozen apps to make my images. The focus of my artwork has primarily been abstract art. I feel my strengths are use of color and imparting textural elements to digital work.

I currently live in Austin, Texas, and spend part of the year in Portland, Oregon.
